Terms of Service

Effective date: April 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HaulSheet ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HaulSheet.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

HaulSheet is a web-based tool that helps owner-operators, independent truckers, and freight carriers manage their business by providing: per-load profit calculation, expense tracking, maintenance logging, IFTA mileage tracking, invoice generation, broker ratings, weekly P&L tracking, stats analytics, and related financial estimation tools.

HaulSheet is designed for informational and estimation purposes only. All figures, calculations, and outputs generated by the Service are estimates based solely on the data you provide and the formulas applied by the application. They do not constitute financial, tax, accounting, legal, or investment advice of any kind.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate or fraudulent information.

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent the free trial period or any other access limitation is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.

5. Free Trial and Subscription

New users are offered a seven (7) day free trial upon account creation. No payment information is required to start the free trial. The free trial begins at the moment your account is created (or email verified, if email confirmation is enabled).

Upon expiration of the free trial, continued access to the Service requires an active paid subscription. Subscription billing is handled by Paddle(Paddle.com Market Limited, a merchant of record). By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and authorize recurring charges to your payment method. All payment processing, billing disputes, and refund requests are handled by Paddle as the merchant of record.

Current pricing: USD $14.99 per month or USD $99 per year (approximately $8.25/month). Pricing is subject to change with prior notice.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the Service's Settings page. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period except where required by applicable law or Paddle's refund policy.

Account deletion is distinct from subscription cancellation. If you delete your account via the Settings page while an active subscription exists, your subscription will be cancelled immediately rather than at the end of the billing period, and no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the current billing period. Your account will be locked immediately upon deletion. All associated data will be permanently deleted after 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

The calculations, figures, estimates, and outputs provided by HaulSheet — including tax estimates, profit projections, broker ratings, IFTA mileage summaries, and invoice figures — are for informational and estimation purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, tax advice, accounting advice, investment advice, or legal advice of any kind.

Tax estimates use approximate federal rates and do not account for state taxes, deductions, credits, business structure, or individual circumstances. Always consult a qualified CPA, tax professional, or attorney before making business or financial decisions.

IFTA mileage data entered into HaulSheet is for your personal tracking only. HaulSheet does not file IFTA returns on your behalf and does not guarantee compliance with any regulatory requirements. You are solely responsible for your IFTA filings.

Invoices generated by HaulSheet are templates only. We do not guarantee their legal validity, enforceability, or compliance with applicable laws in any jurisdiction.

7. User Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including load details, expenses, maintenance records, IFTA entries, invoices, broker information, financial figures, and uploaded receipts ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant HaulSheet a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You may delete your data at any time from within the Service's Settings page. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain before deleting your account.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or interact with the Service without authorization.
  • Create multiple accounts to exploit the free trial or bypass access restrictions.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or security of the Service.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercialize access to the Service without written permission.
  • Upload malicious files or content through receipt upload or any other feature.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and functionality, is the exclusive property of HaulSheet and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it as described herein.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAULSHEET DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any calculations, estimates, or outputs produced by the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HAULSHEET AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $50.00, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HaulSheet and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any User Content you submit.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Paddle (payment processing and merchant of record), Supabase (data storage and authentication), and the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) API (live fuel price data). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. HaulSheet is not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.

As Paddle acts as the merchant of record for all transactions, consumer protection laws and chargeback rights applicable to your jurisdiction will be handled by Paddle in their capacity as merchant. If you have billing disputes, please contact Paddle at paddle.com/help.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within thirty (30) days, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits Paddle's responsibility as merchant of record for billing disputes, which are governed by Paddle's terms of service.

16. Referral Program

HaulSheet may offer a referral program under which existing subscribers ("Referrers") can share a unique referral link with prospective users ("Referred Users"). When a Referred User subscribes through a valid referral link, both parties may receive a discount or account credit as described within the Service at the time of referral.

Referral rewards are applied automatically by Paddle as a discount on the applicable billing period and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Rewards are only granted when the Referred User completes a paid subscription using the referral link — free trials alone do not qualify.
  • Self-referrals (creating a second account to refer yourself) are prohibited and will result in forfeiture of any rewards and may result in account termination.
  • Referral rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash.
  • Rewards are forfeited upon cancellation or termination of the Referrer's account.
  • HaulSheet reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including suspected fraud or abuse.
